Hello

Relatively new to the locksmith trade. I have an old monarch panic bar with a schlage rim cylinder (lever handle) on other side. When you rattle the lever handle the lock opens, even in the locked position. Loose tail piece? Wrong tailpiece ? Tailpiece out of sync? Faulty core? Faulty panic bar? There is an electric strike involved... Could this be part of the problem? Core is master keyed. Help! And thank you.
